About

Juniper Green Village Hall is a community centre owned by the City of Edinburgh Council and run, as a registered charity, by a volunteer Management Committee.

This Village Hall sits in the heart of the village of Juniper Green in Edinburgh and comprises a large hall, which can be divided into two distinct spaces, and a fully functioning kitchen. The hall space is available to hire on a regular basis for clubs and classes or on a single basis for events, parties and conferences.

The Village Hall can accommodate up to 100 people and is open seven days per week. It is well used by the local community for regular clubs, birthday parties, charity fundraisers, events and public meetings.

The Village Hall is surrounded by two gardens. There is an open community garden near the front entrance and a secure, enclosed garden with a sandpit at the back entrance used by our local playgroup.

Please see our Frequently Asked Questions (FAQ) and if you are interested in hiring the hall, check out our Bookings page.

Management committee

Volunteers on the Management Committee are all from the local community who are responsible for the financial administration of the Village Hall, running it as a not for profit community business with charitable status.

Whilst the City of Edinburgh Council are responsible for maintaining the exterior of the building and utilities, the Management Committee are responsible for maintaining the interior of the building and the community garden.
